History

Thank you for coming to the San Francisco Bay Area Network for End-of-Life Care web site!

The Network has met regularly since March of 2000; meetings are the first Wednesday of every month from 11:30-1:30. We are happy to have you join the 30+ individuals representing 50-60 organizations that consistently show up for our meetings every month. Each meeting includes an opportunity for networking, discussions of organizational planning and decision-making for the Network, and a substantive presentation on some aspect of hospice, end-of-life, or palliative care.

We are supported by the San Francisco Medical Society, which serves as a 501(c)(3) umbrella. We partner with the San Francisco Interfaith Council, participate in the projects of the California Coalition for Compassionate Care, and work with the American Society on Aging to plan continuing education on end-of-life care.

We encourage you to network with everyone here and we hope to see you at a meeting!

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the Network.

And thank you again for your interest and for coming today!
