Join artist Deborah Moskowitz for first-hand experience of art therapy for grief and loss. Understanding these techniques will give you a useful tool to work with clients and when to recommend it to someone. Here’s what you will need for the workshop:
*4-6 sheets of white paper (8.5 x 11.5 inches printer paper is fine)
*Colored pencils or crayons (preferably at least 8 different colors)
*Black felt tip pen—medium point (Sharpie pen or other felt tip marker)
*Candle with matches or lighter
*Several coins—nickel, penny, quarter

Deborah has spent more than 30 years providing services. She also advocates for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has a BA in special education. She also has an MS in services for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
